We were deciding where to have lunch today, I told my friend that.."Hem, you will never see me in those "Char Chan Teng"..Kopitiam ok la...but not those HK styled cafe. Not for a serious meal, at least. I don't mind going in for a cuppa. Nothing personal, it's just a matter of personal taste/option. :)

So, we settled in at Dragon-I and while waiting for our food, we started to chat. He shared with me that he and a bunch of his friends have this hobby of WATCHING people. Huh? A bunch of guy sitting at a cafe over the weekend, doing nothing but WATCHING people??!! He finds it facsinating to see different type of people, the clothes they wear, the way they talk, walk and god knows what else ;P


Personally, I do WATCH sometimes. It is interesting. Although it is not right to judge people, but we tend to judge what we see. "Look at your 3 o'clock..blah blah blah"...or "The girl in blue jeans and pink top..blah blah blah"...isn't all of us guilty and have done it at least once in your lifetime??!! We laugh at those aunties that are trying too hard to be "youthful"..or the young gal whom tries to impress her girlfriends with the "slang", etc, etc.

I must admit, it's quite interesting.

But to do it as a hobby, nah! And my friend here, he is a really nice guy, just that he have a strange, strange hobby :P Or at least, I find it strange :P
