Honeymoon trip?
I repeated many times...I am going to BKK with my mum. Only me & mum. How can it be a honeymoon trip? :P Of course, many people find it strange that I am going for a holiday with my mum and not with my hubby. Well...it just so happened that Airasia was having a promo and hubby can't confirm the dates, so, ended up, I booked for mum instead.
It was the first overseas trip with mum alone. Ahh..wish dad can join too.
Anyway, we stayed at Pratunam which was touted as the clothing haven of BKK. Food cost slightly higher here, probably due the the presence of businessman/traders from overseas. I didn't manage to get any clothes, as I find their fashion is a little behind. We stayed at Citin Pratunam hotel, very clean and friendly staff :) Room internet speed sucks, but location is good...walking distance to shops and at night, many street traders with interesting food (mostly bbq) and delicious thai coconut can be found almost everywhere!
After 2 nights at Citin, we moved to Citadines furnished apartments located at Sukhumvit. I just luv contemporaray & chic rooms! Near to BTS Skytrain, it was so convenient! I took mum to the weekend market, Chatucak as well as Siam Paragon for shopping. So different from Pratunam! We also visited China Town, but I was a little dissapointed as there was not much things to see. It is just like our Petaling Street in MY, just that, the stores in BKK China Town is bigger. But then again, fashion wise...hmmm.
Overall, enjoyed the trip very much with mum. It will be one of the most unforgetable moments for me :). Especially the time when both of us have to walk through sexy girls wearing skimpy clothes along the road. We took this shortcut "Soi Cowboy" each time we go for the Skytrain. Mum is so uneasy seeing young girls with bra n fishnet stockings walking around!! Naughty, naughty!!So, how can men not be tempted? There are so many fishes here. Kekeke...must ensure hubby NEVER go to BKK without ME. Haha!
Bloggin' Time!
