Darn. My brother is organising a BBQ at his house. Apart from the family members, he will be inviting few of his friends too. Darn.

Don't get me wrong, I luv BBQ and family gatherings. I love to spend time with my family, especially my lovely niece and nephew. But, new year's eve? When the clock strikes twelve tonight, the whole world will know that it is my birthday! I am sure, he will keep everyone for the countdown...and to celebrate my birthday as well. Those strangers, will have no choice but to sing me a birthday song. And my dearest sister-in-law, will bake me a cake.

Don't know why, but I always prefer to have my birthday celebrated with people close to me. Not with a bunch of strangers. Arrgh. Imagine everyone looking surprised when the birthday song is sang...and they have no choice but to sing a long. Geez. Really not something I look forward to.

I really appreciate their intentions, but then again, I really hope we won't do so next year. I must find a way to tell him =P

The most touching moment was when my niece & nephew presented me with a birthday card and present!! Wahh...present?? I was almost speechless as I never expected it. Present from my niece and nephew? Hand made card too? Wow!! Never thought of it. Hehe. Very thoughtful of them, and indeed, it made my day =)
